A little of this.... and a little of that

Ashton got to babysit our neighbors dog for a couple days- isn't she so cute. Ashton loved to go over and check on her several times a day.

Peri is still loving art and created this amazing tree house. She said she wants to become as good as Aftie.

McKenzie and Crista came after church one Sunday, and had dinner, and then made us cookies.

They made a giant flower, and it was delicious.

Then they brought us Pie In The Face, game and we loved every second of it. Kenzie really likes to load up the whip cream.

Peri turning the dial, and anticipating the SMACK

Ashton and I got hit overtime. Taylor managed to avoid it, until the last round

Super fun game with some super fun people!

Tay is cheering for boys basketball right now. She says our team is not so good, but it's still fun to cheer

I wish that I could have had a better angle, but we got there too late. Taylor and her friends McKenna and Emma were asked to sing the National Anthem for the beginning of the boys basketball game. They did such a great job. I was so proud of her and her strength and courage to do hard things. You have to really turn it up to hear it, and it's only half of the song- but it's better than nothing.

The kids decided one night for dinner, to have a chopped challenge. They each gave each other 5 ingredients and had to come up with something. This was Ashton grilled cheese sandwich, with Taylor's baked cinnamon sugar almonds.

Cam had to try all of them- this was Peri's chopped salad.

This was Taylor's pesto pasta

And this is what my kitchen looked like afterwards. But, they all cleaned up together and were very silly in the process. It took a good two hours for them to finish- but they didn't fight!

My kindergartner gave me these orchids for Christmas and they are still alive!!!!

Cam and Peri headed off to Donuts with Dad, but Peri got to take special carrot cake muffins instead.

There has been a lot of snow! I love this picture because they are both wearing their matching "cousins Eddie" hats, gray sweats, and blue sweatshirts and boots. They didn't even plan that- so much like each other. Ashton is ALWAYS a good helper and only has to be asked once to help out, he even goes and shovels two of our neighbors driveways without being asked.
