It's all about Ashton

Ashton had a really fun project at his school, where they all represented in a famous person in history. Then they set up a live wax museum of in the gym- the kids had to memorize their part and say it, whenever someone walked by and pushed their "button" Ashton did a great job, but did NOT like dressing up. He did like studying about Abraham Lincoln and like that he was on money. All the pictures are on Cam's phone- so those I'll have to put up later.

Ashton is going to hate this picture and I don't love it either- but it records the moment in history. This was Muffins with Mom at his school. It was fun to spend time just with him. Love this boy so much.

Marlee and GG came on a Saturday to celebrate Ashton's birthday and watch Peri and Ashton play their basketball games. It was such a special day! GG is testing out Peri's headphones, I think pink and purple look good on him!

Taylor opening up her Valentine's present from GG and Marmee. GG buys them and writes them sweet notes, and Marmee wraps them up so cute! They are quite a pair.

Ashton picked McKenzie River for his birthday dinner from Marmee and GG. We had such a special time together and opened up presents and talked about our much anticipated trip to Disneyworld. We can hardly wait!

Don't worry, GG was standing near by to make sure she was hydrated. I think he was kind of proud of her. She had a good game that day.

Special Day!

Peri went home with Marmee and GG to have special time. So, the next day we went to pick her up and Marmee made Ashton a special birthday dinner- YUM- and tested out the new VitaMix. That thing has got some serious power. They tried out all kinds of recipes. 

Ashton's birthday party! Mr. 11. I can't believe he's grown up so fast. He's almost taller than I am, and has bigger feet than I do. But, he still loves his mom and is so sweet to me. I love having a son and so proud of the goody boy he is. Ashton invited some of his favorite friends and wanted to go to Outer Limits to play Laser Tag and have a very simple cake with no decorations. He's very easy!

Peri was so excited to give Ashton his present. It's a ball that rolls around, sings and shakes- and it VERY LOUD! Ashton loved it.

He requested a white cake with my cream cheese frosting! DONE!

Ashton is so lucky- I think Cam has only missed one birthday party in all of Ashton's years. He always rearranges his schedule, so he can be here. What a good dad.

Ashton has some great friends and loves his cousin Easton too.

Ashton had so much fun at his basketball game last Saturday. He had a smile on his face so many times! They won again.

Ashton received his Arrow of Light award from scouts last night! So proud of him- he worked hard earning it. He is officially done with Cub Scouts and on to Boy Scouts. He has a great leader, Bro. Jensen- who lives one door down and is great with the boys. They have already starting planning their first camp out and Ashton can't wait. He was asked to buy a really good knife, scout book, and new boy scout shirt. He can't wait for the new knife!
