It's been exactly a month, since I last posted... way too long

This picture just cracks me up!!!!! basketball shorts, his ukulele, hunting hat, and a goofy look on his face.  He was just being a goof ball!

First day of school for Taylor and Ashton
Not the greatest of pictures, but they were  happy and ready to get out the door.  Dad- Ashton's shirt has Johnny Cash on the front of it (thought you'd appreciate that)

This is another crackup.  GG sent his annual school supplies, BUT this year it was two pairs of shoes for each kiddo. Ashton was soooo excited, he couldn't decide which shoe to wear- So... he just put one of each on. That GG sure knows what these kids like.  GG also didn't believe me that Ashton wears a size 8. It's true- he has bigger feet than me now, and is growing like a weed.

Jen and I made raspberry and strawberry jam. We also canned peaches and cut up some for smoothies. Lots of work and late nights, but so much fun to laugh and spend time with her. She is even 7 months pregnant and is a total trooper- on her feet the whole time.

Peri got a haircut, and looks extra growup.

Taylor made the volleyball team and was so excited.

Ashton is number 20 on the football team, and plays offense and defense in almost every game. The poor kid never gets a break. He practices every night for two hours. He is totally dedicated. He even rides his bike to practice and returns totally dripping in sweat.

All these dad's started in the stands and eventually got closer and closer to their boys. It was funny to watch.

Cam helps run the chains, so he is usually giving pointers to Ashton the whole game.

We went to annual labor day weekend and the kiddos loved it.

They even caught some little frogs

Peri loved Valerie's little boy and watched him like a hawk. He is so cute.

We went to the fair with Marmee and GG. Love this picture

Taylor "attempted" another go on the roller coaster. The baby roller coaster that is. She is still not a total fan of anything fast and crazy- unlike her mother.

We visited the paintings of Taylor and Ashton. We put Peri in the picture, because she was  a baby in my arms when the kiddos were painted. Ashton and Cam had a football party that they had already planned, so it was just a girls night and it was fun.

So cute of Tay

Everybody learned to milk a plastic cow

Cam and Ashton picked chokecherries. After hours of stemming and pitting, I put the juice on the stove to make syrup. After leaving for two seconds to fold a shirt in the dryer- the juice was smoking on the stove. OOOOHHHH, it was so sad after all that work. I had to throw it all away. It tasted like really gross cherry cough syrup.

This is at Peri's first soccer game.  Ashton had just finished his football game, and we ran to Peri's game. Cameron is coaching her team this year and loves it. These two get pretty silly sometimes. Ashton sat on her lap during the game.
