The Snipe Hunt- they were about to release the snipes and find out what they looked like. Tay loved this part, even though she said it was a little scary.

Our 3 mile hike for certification, which actually turned out to be 7 miles! It was VERY hot and lots of steep hills

After our hike, the YCL's gave all the leaders some pampering! It was heaven.

Some of my first year's trying the art of archery! Most of them were very good- despite the boy scouts not giving any instruction.

Some of them tried BMX riding, they had to practice in this little path- then they could take off on the trail, which was tough

The C.O.P.E. course, or in other words- learning how to work together. They were awesome, thanks to the help of Chad.

My bestie- Ms. Jen Jeppsen with her soon to be cute baby. She's one of the cutest pregnant ladies I know. That's her daughter Mady right behind her. Love these girls

Taylor and her friend Kaytlin Romriell- one of the sweetest girls. She even came to camp with a broken foot and went on the hike too. These are tough girls

This is Taylor's young women's president, Angie Oliver. She was in an accident in high school and her legs were paralyzed as a result.  She is one of the most amazing ladies I know, and Taylor loves her. Taylor bore her testimony about how much she loves her. It was so tender.

Our ward theme was: Keep Calm and be a Hero!. All the young women wrote Angie's name on the banner, when she asked them to sign who their hero's were. It was sweet and she was touched. She was unable to come to camp, because it was not handicapped equipped. It was really tough for her and the girls. But, the last night- her husband carried her into camp and the girls put her wheelchair by the fire. She stayed for all of testimony meeting and provided the girls with a darling "smore's bar" and yummy hot chocolate. 

Taylor received the Christ like camper award.  We had four awards to give out, which the girls and leaders secretly nominated. I also won Spirit of Camp award- just because I was on time to things and took a shower everyday.  Hee Hee

All the mom's or dad's write a letter before camp and give it to our camp director. The girls get to open and read them right before testimony meeting and it is very tender! Love my girl and had fun being with her at camp for her first year.  She's a pretty special girl!
