Please life.... slow down!!!!

We've had lots of bbq's at our house! So many friends have come to visit and we love our home filled with good friends! This is Ashton with McKay and Gentry really enjoying Cam's smoked ribs

Then outside for jumping on the tramp with the sprinkler underneath and playing in the clubhouse.

Cam fell asleep one night while the girls were rubbing his feet! He was OUT!

Peri and I's first day of school.

Peri is in 1st grade with Mrs. Warwick and she loves it! She's also right across the hall from me, and I LOVE IT!

Grammy came for a visit! YEAH!!! We took her to dinner at El Heradero's, which she'll never forget. BECAUSE, she took a giant bite of green salsa on her chip (that's the really, really hot salsa, which Ashton also spiced up with a little Tabasco sauce)

Peri was exhausted after the 1st day of school, and barely made it through dinner.

We got in from dinner, and put Peri to bed. Right as we laid her down, she opened her eyes and asked for Grammy to read to her.  They read "Always in Trouble,"Peri's favorite book.

Off to the second day of school, with two very silly girls standing in the front!

Then we had a flood! Oh man, was it crazy.  It filled up the underpass of Center st. all the way to the top. Nothing I've ever seen. We got a little water in Tay's room, but got it out fast enough that we didn't have to pull up carpet. Cam jumped down in the window wells and bailed out buckets of water faster than I've ever seen.  

Peri felt sad for Clue. So, she opened the window just enough to  talk to him and scratch his head.

GG SENDS ANNUAL SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!!!! Oh, happy day, when that giant package came! Ashton had just returned from a root canal, to fix his dead tooth and was so excited but couldn't move his mouth! This picture is hilarious- I wish you could have heard his excitement over the swollen tongue and lip! They are holding up their favorite items!

Peri was so excited too, she just kept saying over and over how sweet her GG is! Then she'd say, "oh, that GG" One of Taylor's friend was over, and said "what is all this stuff, do you get  like this stuff  every year? Tay told her the tradition and she said she was jealous! We're off to bed right now, and getting ready for Tay and Ashton's first day of school! Love being in a routine, but will miss summer.

Ashton started football and is playing center again this year! He is loving it.  Peri is starting soccer this week and can hardly wait. Tay is looking into tumbling, because we need a little break from the very busy schedule of swimming. I'm constantly working on my own schoolwork, but love learning. Love being back with all the kindergartners too!
