Ashton met all his teammates at their camping spot, and they played four square until they couldn't see anymore. Also, their coach said they had to go to bed, since we had a 7 a.m. game.
Peri discovered a bug zapper. She said it was really sad that all those bugs had to be fried.
Ashton had some great hits. They won 3 games in a row and won 3rd overall at the tournament.
We went to Uncle John's pizza place- Yum!
Ashton's favorite coach- coach Aaron. He's so supportive and patient with Ashton, especially when he's whining.
Ashton played in the home-run derby. He had a few home runs. Fun to watch.
We visited the California/Idaho Trail Museum. It was so fun
This was Peri discovering a badger skin. She couldn't figure out where the rest of his body was. She said she was "disgusted"
There was also a quilt show going on, and this was a quilt that a lady made with over 15,000 squares. Amazing.
This was the simulated wagon ride and the girls were a little nervous. It makes you appreciate riding in a nice smooth car, with a/c, radio, and stopping at gas stations whenever you want.
The girls and I bought matching bracelets, to remember our trip in Bear Lake together.
This was a little trick: the boys were told to line up after their game, so all the moms could get a picture. But, secretly- the coaches had a cooler full of water balloons that they pelted them with. It was hilarious. They were shocked. This all came about, because Coach Aaron gave all the boys silly string at practice and they pelted their coaches. It was just pay-back!
Ashton and Cam soaked!!
You can't leave Bear Lake without stopping for a famous Raspberry Milkshake. Peri enjoyed the artwork while she waited for her's to be mixed up.
This is Peri at swimming lessons, not fond of going under water. She has to take a big breath and be as brave as can be. We have decided to do another session of swimming lessons, or until she feels comfortable with this part. But, she can float on her back forever. She is actually loving it, despite what the picture says.
