Time for catch up

It's been a very busy weekend. Marmee and GG stopped by on a surprise visit! Yeah- we were so excited and they even brought us a Maddox pie. YUM! Then they came to watch Ashton at his karate class.  Then, we were off to clean the church- it was our turn.  The kids did a great job helping.  Pizza -Hut was the next stop, to let the kids use their Book-It coupons for reading books and doing great at school.  The next morning, prompty at 7:40 a.m. Ashton had his first Jr. Jazz basketball game.  Cam is coaching his team and does a great job.  We look forward to a great season.  He has 4 kids from his school on his team and Taylor has also set-up a babysittig clinic in the hallway. She is working on this for an achievement day girl goal, plus she just loves to babysit.  She had one little boy and she gave him a name tag and everything, she hauled her WHOLE babysitting kit and did a fantastic job.  Then after basketball, we got the house all ready to show and then the people backed out- but it got the house super clean.  So, the kids deserved a trip to the gym to go swimming.  Taylor's most favorite thing ever- SWIMMING! She can't get enough of it.  Last but not least, was the Super bowl after church with our friends the Billquists. They have a great house in Shelley and I wish I could move right next door to them.  Such a great house out in the country, but then I'd be 45 more minutes away from my mom and dad. So, Pocatello is where we will stay for now.  Hope your's was a good weekend too!
