Fall Break... Thus far

We've been busy during the kids' fall break from school. We spent a few days at Marmee and GG's. We had so much fun and had a hard time packing up to come home. We of course went to Target to look at toys for Peri's birthday, did lots of shopping for the upcoming winter, went swimming, popped popcorn on the stove, watched a movie while putting a puzzle together. Then the next day Ashton helped GG with the leaf blower(scared at first-but then loved it) did more shopping, went swimming with the little neighbor boys, The Nielsons. It was a trade; if you come and swim at our house- then can we come drive your Barbie jeeps. SOOOOO much fun. Taylor also got a wonderful surprise from our Auntie Teresa in California. She works for a clothing designer who designed the black hoodie Tay is wearing and the fabulous purple scarf. They are covered in peace signs and Tay is in heaven. That was the best surprise ever. THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT TERESA! You made Taylor's year. She's already planning on wearing it to school when she goes back for casual day.
Marmee and Peri played babies in the playroom which consisted of Peri being a doctor and a visiting teacher. Taylor had a piano lesson from Marmee. So much to do and so little time. I stayed up with my mom till 3:00 a.m. working on our puzzle and the next night till 12:30. So fun. Thanks for having us- we can't wait to come back again.
