My Smartie Peri

Peri asked me this morning what the paper thing was on dad's desk. After I realized she was talking about his diploma from ISU, she asked what it was for. I told her when you go to college and graduate, they give you a certificate that says you did a good job. She matter of factly said, "oh, so did he get candy too?" I laughed and asked her if that's the best prize for graduating. She said it was better than that piece of paper.
