Cam has been taking Clue out, for test runs on hunting birds this fall. While out on their little jaunt the other day, Clue found something white and black- with it's tail sticking straight up in the air. He just couldn't restrain himself and ran full speed ahead to sniff it out. Cam tried everything he could to stop him, but it was too late. Cam threw him in the canal a couple of times, hosed him down with his doggie shampoo, then a bath with DAWN, but we haven't tried tomato juice yet. The poor thing. We're not allowed to pet him for a few days, and the kids just stare at him through the glass door and repeat over and over, " you poor, poor dog." So if you smell something lingering in the neighborhood- it's probably coming from the house on Pointeview.
P.S. in light of all of that, Ashton sprained his ankle. He's been parked on my bed and loving every second of his doting sisters. He's got a tray and a bell and anything at his beckoning call.
P.S.S. I cut my hair- feels good to have a change and feel about 5 pounds lighter.
