Garage Sale

Two Saturdays ago we had our very first garage sale. It was cold!!!!! It felt like the beginning of winter in August. We started at 7 a.m. and ended around 2. We involved the whole neighborhood, so we had a pretty good showing. We made about 300 dollars, so we called it a success. Taylor set up an ice cream stand which was quite popular despite the frigid temperatures. All her neighbor friends came down and bought from her. Then she and Ashton packed up the money they made and headed off on their bikes to see what they could buy from the other neighbors. We ended up with more "stuff" than we sold. Cam sold his pontoon boat, which was kinda sad. It was his decision to have it go- but some happy memories went with it. It was also sad watching some of our little baby clothes go. It's hard not to picture them in those little outfits, when they were so tiny and sweet. We met a lot of nice people and had a good time being together. PLUS- my closet under my stairs and Cam's closet are cleaned out. YAY!!!! Overall, a good time.
