Shadow dancing

Last night Peri discovered her shadow. This is one of my most favorite moments in childhood. She was dancing with Taylor and Ashton after watching "The Three Lives
of Thomasina." (an old Disney movie) We just had the hall light on and the living room was dark, so it made perfect shadows on the wall. As she was twirling she slowly stopped.... ran up to the wall and gently tapped it. I told her she found her shadow. She gave me the funniest and most confused look and then began twirling around and yelling to Taylor and Ashton, "my sadow, my sadow" "tay-tay, aston, look my sadow." She'd raise her hands up and down and run really close and then far away. It was so cute. Cam and I watched them all dance for the next 1/2 hour, just loving life and our little family. What good kiddos we have. They each make us smile in some way everyday. Peri is learning to talk so well and it's fun to figure out what she's trying to tell us. Ashton can interpret better than anyone. She can make any animal sound too- including a butterfly.(we're not sure if that's a real sound yet) It's fun to watch them grow and learn.
