This is my most favorite thing to cook lately. It's a great receipe from my sister in law Jill.
French Toast Surprise
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg yok
1/4 c. sugar
-mix till combined
1 loaf white sandwich bread,
-trim off all edges
-then roll out each piece with a rolling pin
-spread cr. cheese mixture on each slice of bread and roll up like a jelly roll. then roll in
1 cube melted butter
3/4 c. sugar, 1 T. cinnamon- combine
Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes
This is my favorite syrup: Buttermilk Syrup
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. butter
2 T. corn syrup
1 t. baking soda
-bring to a boil for 7 min.
-remove from heat and add in 2 t. vanilla
This is delicious.

Oh my goodness! This sounds amazing! I just discovered this whole buttermilk syrup thing...wow, it's good stuff. And any recipie you recommend has to be good!!!
