Mexico

This was a little monkey/raccoon called a Coati, that we saw run in front of us one night on the back to our room.  He was pawing in the garbage can, and then went to this putting green to find some bugs. He was so cute to watch and didn't mind us.

Still love him, after 17 years!

There was a priest right outside this lovely church giving blessings as we walked by.

Diet Coke in Mexico- if only we had remembered not to pour into in our glasses that were full of ice.  That's what made us sick. Dang Mexican Water!!!!!!

These birds LOVED Cam- he spit a little Diet Coke out on the ground at one of the birds, then all of sudden he was covered by them. This wasn't even half of them. It was a little creepy.

Enjoying the ferry ride to Cozumel- it put Cam right to sleep like a baby.  There was also a man right next to him, sketching a picture of him the whole way there.  He never showed it to Cam, but I thought it was neat (and a little weird too) Everybody think's Cam looks like Blake Shelton- so I thought maybe that's why he was drawing him. We will never know!!!

Awwww, finally something nice and cool. Man it was hot there.

This was a neat ceremony that the native people were doing in Playa Del Carmen. Very coo! There was an older lady mashing something in a marble vase and she had a little fire by her and was chanting. I wish I could have understood what she was saying.

Enjoying one of the pools and watching these kiddos have so much fun in the giant hamster ball. Cam and I kept saying the whole time how much our kiddos would have loved it there.

One of our dinner entree's, and each meal had at least 5 courses. This was a cinnamon pomegranate salad with pepper and watercress. It was actually delicious and so beautiful.

We had to make a dinner reservation for each restaurant and dress up overnight, which was kind of fun.

Cam coming back from fishing- not very many fish where we were, but it was beautiful

This local fella, drove his boat right up by the hotel and took this little sack/net and caught hundreds of little fish for bait. Then they hurried off the beach when they saw hotel security coming.

These are the barriers that Cam was standing on.  They fill these huge big black bags full of sand and then put them in the water to help the beach not erode.  Overtime, the kelp and seaweed and little animals start to grow on them.  You can see little mussels on this one.

There were baby sea turtles just about to hatch, and we were so sad we missed it.

Loved the little cantina that they brought with every glass.  This was sparking water and sparking ice cubes. That's what I drank the whole time we were there.

This is right outside the pool and by the ocean- it was breathtaking. 

This was inside the main lobby- where there are no doors, everything is open and beautiful.

You had to walk along a boardwalk everywhere you went. Isn't that amazing and beautiful! It's especially pretty at night when it's all lit up.
