Ashton seems to be on the ground "fighting" for the ball a lot- he's pretty scrappy!
His team this year is the All Stars, and they've won all three games thus far.
Peri has developed a new love of jump roping lately. So, has Ashton. We bought him a jump rope, and finally had to take it away temporally because he was making his legs so soar, he couldn't walk. They were jumping all over the house, non-stop.
Peri started basketball with Jr. Jazz, and is pretty great. She made her first basket yesterday and we couldn't be prouder. She is loving it.
This is Jagger. Isn't he soooo cute. This is my friend Misty Olsen's baby and she's also Peri's coach. So, we get to hold him during the games. He loves Cam and Tay too, and any buttons on Cam's coat.
Superbowl afternoon, with lots of good food and The Jeppsens.
Cam smoked pulled pork, which was delicious.
But, who was the happiest about it?!!!!!
Please, please, please
SCORE!
All the kiddos eating and then they played for hours. We were sad the Broncos lost, but loved watching the Doritos commercial- about the time machine! Hee Hee
This is Tay's drawing of the peanut guy. It started out as a minion, but didn't work out- so she turned into the Planters Peanut guy. She likes to stay busy during the basketball games.
During time-out, all the kids grab their basketball's and practice until the buzzer rings. Go Peri!
And yet, another scrappy picture of Ashton. They won this game without their star players, and still had a score of 20-4.
Okay, this picture needs some explaining. This is Mark Echohawk looking at a diaper. We went out to dinner with them and some other friends last night, and then went for dessert to their house. When we got up to leave, we saw this wrapped up dirty diaper on the ground. They don't have babies and none of the couples did either. We were all just stumped and staring at each other. Mark said, "somebody has some explaining to do." We finally realized it was there sneaky dog, who had gotten out and pulled it from a trash can and brought it home. Milo the little dog knew he was in trouble and was hiding under the couch. It was hilarious.
Dad, also have to tell you, that Cam and I were at a Chamber Event with the Jeppsens on Friday night. They were auctioning off prizes all night, and one of the big ones was a gold round at Blue Lakes. It went for over $600. Crazy huh. We had a fun night with the Jeppsens and went to their house to play Mexican Train until midnight. So fun!
Taylor and I have strep throat, so were going to bed early and hoping we will feel better very soon. I can just feel the sympathy right now, as you're reading this- those poor girls! But, it does mean laying in bed and watching the Olympics. Yeah!!!
