Ashton has been playing great in his basketball games, and working very hard in practices. We get excited for every Saturday's game. After his game, we got to go to Lewisville and meet Sheyenn's new love of her life, Max. We're excited to get to know him better. Shy looked sooooo beautiful and is the sweetest girl. We're so happy for her.
Peri and I started peeling the paper off about 500 or more crayons. We separated them into color groups then melted them and poured them into a heart mold. We made 400 little heart crayons for Ashton and Peri's classmates as their Valentine's. It was a little time consuming, but fun. Everyone helped over a few days. Then Tay and Peri go to go to ISU Girls Sports Day. What a fun event. They each got to sign up for 3 different sports classes. Tay got swimming (of course), yoga, and volleyball. She loved every one of them - but says next year she's going to do pool kayaking. She said she wanted more of a challenge. Then Peri signed up for cheerleading ( no surprise there) soccer, and her favorite was badminton. They had so many fun and different classes to choose from. We'll sign up for sure again next year. The best part was getting Kiwi Loco at the end; the girls said. Then off to another basketball game for Ashton, which grandma and grandpa attended. Ashton was excited and played his heart out.
The guy's financing fell through on our house, so we're back to square one with showing it again. We've got a family that loves it, but can't move in until May after her preschool in her house is done. Then we have another family that looked yesterday and loves it. So, we'll see. I'm definitely ready to stop having it "show ready" and just be able to live in a house. We're still looking for our dream home and know everything will work out how it's supposed too. So, on with normal routine life.
Taylor is going cross-country skiing tomorrow for school- she is not happy about it at all. I think she's going to come home loving it. Happy week all.
