Fly Fishing Expo

Tying flies

Tay's special: a purple woolly bugger

Brooklyn and Peri painting fish pictures- Peri wanted to match Brooklyn's exactly.

A little ping-pong

The winner....... Taylor Eddie

She won a box of flies

Even Jay won a t-shirt for his fly

A little casting practice

The boat Cam's got his eye on. All handmade with inlaid wood. Very pretty

After Taylor's last volleyball game today, and helping out with the postal food drive- we headed over to the Annual Pocatello Fly Fishing Expo. The kids were excited to tie flies with Cam, cast a rod, eat, paint, play on the toys and have fun. Cam talked the Jeppsen family into coming with us and it was so much more fun to have them with us.  Taylor tied a special fly and won a prize in the child's division for her special turquoise wooly bugger. Ashton also won a fly box.  I was even going to enter the fly casting competition, after much practice last night- but ran out of time. Cam took Tay and Ashton fishing for the rest of the day with Uncle Derek and testing out his new boat.  Pictures of that to follow. A very beautiful day and fun time with great friends!
