Where to begin..... we did so much in the last week, I don't know where to start. From the beginning is best; here goes. Right after Kaden's blessing last Sunday, we set off for Arizona and the beautiful weather. The kids did quite well in the car. We made lots of stops and stayed overnight in Henderson. Then off to see Grammy in Mesa. We played so hard the whole week. We of course started off with swimming, a trip to IKEA and Bass Pro Shop. We went to a spring training game where the Cubs and the Indians were playing, we made a trip to Charming Charlie's; a new favorite of the girls. We picked grapefruit and oranges in Grammy's backyard and made our own juice, went out for dinner, made homemade pasta, did I mention swimming and more swimming. We had many trips on the golf cart, learned to play Yahtzee, went for a ride on a beautiful carousel. The best part was seeing the Mesa Easter Pageant that they hold at the Mesa Temple. It's incredible!!! They have a cast of more than 400 people with intricate costumes and makeup. They even have live goats, donkeys and other animals. I remember seeing this as a little girl, but didn't remember how beautiful the spirit was. The kids loved meeting the cast and holding the "real swords". Last but not least was a trip to the gigantic swap meet where we found everything you can possibly imagine. Then, said goodbye to our beloved Grammy and headed for home. We decided to see the Grand Canyon on our way and stop at Zion's Park too. The kids loved it, as long as Cam did not get too close to the edge. We saw live elk and deer just feet from us, and lizards too. We visited my old stomping grounds at SNOW College. I showed the kids' where I lived, went to class, and played. They are still teasing me about how small it is. It was the best place to go to school- SNOW will forever hold a special place in my heart. We arrived home at 1 in the morning and are just now getting unpacked. It's good to be home but we already miss our Grammy and the beautiful sun! Thank you for such a wonderful trip full of memories Grammy! We love you so much

what a fun spring break! anywhere sunny is sounding so good right about now. and I was just reading about the Mesa pageant this morning in the church news. it looked really cool.
oh, that grammy and her house hold all of the best memories. remember sitting at that same bar in the kitchen cooking? love you and i'm so glad you got to visit gram!
