Happy Birthday to my Peri girl

What a special day it was for Peri! She started it off with her breakfast wish, which was "Cookie Crisp", not as great as she found out. Then she headed off to preschool which was a special day, because she had a field trip to the police station. I got to be an extra driver which is always fun to see their reactions. They loved/hated the police car -too loud for the girls and so great for the boys. She wanted to take little sacks of candy for her treats. Then after school she and I went to her choice of lunch spots. SUBWAY won! She also wanted to bring it home and have a "picnic" on my bed. A big deal, since we eat only in the kitchen since we've had new carpet. Then we got everything ready for her "Littlest Pet Shop" party. The funnest was watching the girls as we played a game called "Tidy Cat." We told the girls that the cat pooped (tootsie rolls) in the littler box(tray of oatmeal) and we needed them to each get out as many as they could with the scooper. They were convinced it was really cat poop and were so hesitant to help. Then one girl said, "hey this smells like chocolate." We dared her to eat it and all the little girls' faces were shocked when she put it in her mouth. Very funny. We played more games and opened presents and ate puppy paw cupcakes. Last but not least, was a trip to El Herradero. This is Peri's favorite place to eat- the best mexican food you'll ever find. And by 7:15- she was out. She's snoring in the other room whcih means she's had a great day. Happy 5th my little peanut!
