We had a great Easter with Martme and GG this year, except we missed the very beginning of the Easter Egg Hunt. That resulted in no eggs for Tay and just a couple for Ashton and Peri. So GG hid some eggs for the kids up in the playroom and that made up for all of it. We also had an egg hunt at Derek and Jill's house that Sheri did for the kids. She put money and candy in each egg, so my kids dumped out all the candy and gave it to Cannon and Easton and took the money home. Hopefully that will mean no cavities. The kids' also received neck pillows from the Easter Bunny- so they could fall asleep in the car without falling onto each other. This made for a much more quiet and happy car ride home.
We also had Taylor and Ashton's Wizard of Oz musical at school. It was so cute! However, it did not appear to be "cute" to Ashton or Taylor. They both HATE performing in front of people. It took all Ashton had -to do the actions and Taylor had a grumpy "teenage-itis" look on her face the whole time. Afterward, she told me how nervous she was and her shoes had a pool of sweat in them. So I guess no Broadway for the Eddie children.
We also had the Scholastic Warehouse sell at the Red Lion Hotel, which Peri and I took full advantage of. All the books are 50% off, so we bought ALOT and then went back the next day for some more. I love kids' books.
Last but not least was skate night with the Academy. Cam got held up in Idaho Falls, but rushed and made it back for the last hour. We had so much fun skating together with friends and each other. Peri gave my arms a good workout, from holding her up the ENTIRE time. Ashton and his friend Kaleb crashed over and over and would quickly crawl to the wall to stand back up while dodging skaters coming their way. It was hysterical to watch- but they say they want a summer skate pass, so they must have enjoyed it.
Cameron is off to Denver this morning and the kids are out of school for the day. So, we're planning a picnic while we have nice weather. The carpet man is coming to measure for our new carpet(YEAH!!!!!!!) and going to violin, piano, and baseball practice. s

how could your kids not be performers! They are bound to have all kinds of talent and be so good in front of people with you as their mom:) Love you!
