Since Ashton has played in the Jr. Jazz League this year, he got to go see a real Jazz game. Cam and I took him to Salt Lake, and Cam's parent's watched the girls for us.
We had dinner in Layton at an Indian restaurant, which Cam loves because you order your food off an IPAD. No one could have been happier than Ashton. They also let you keep it while you eat, so you can play games. I think we could have driven home then, and Ashton would have been perfectly happy. Then off to the game. Our seats were VERY HIGH! The nosebleed section! However it was fun once we got used to the steepness and Cam pretending to push us off our seats. He's got a sick sense of humor! Some of his teammates were sitting in front of us, so that made it even better. Ashton danced every time the audience camera came on. Cam told him to dance crazy and he'd get on camera. He was so disappointed not to get on, but got lots of good exercise. Halftime was the best- with a big group of older ladies doing a dance to rap and hip/hop music. So funny! A fun time to have just with Ashton- he was a good boy and we're proud of all the hard work he's done on his team. He was so sad to have the season over, but is excited for baseball that starts this next week!
