Ashton's birthday was a busy day: with school, basketball practice, power going off all over town and then his party. Since the power was out- he had to miss his favorite special dinner at FIVE GUYS, so we had taco bell and then lots of cake and ice cream. Ashton wanted a camo-hunting theme party; so we decided to go play laser tag. None of the boys' had been before, so it was so fun to watch them. I think they'll be a little more aggressive next time and not so scared to shoot each other. Then home for the "giant" 4-wheeler camo cake and presents. Ashton loved having all his friends, especially his best buddy Caleb who was sick all week- but put his slippers on and came to bring him his present at the very end. Ashton's favorite present was his alarm clock, that shines up on the ceiling. He reported the time every couple minutes for HOURS until suddenly ........it was quiet; he finally fell asleep. The excitement has finally worn off (Hallelujah!) and he only reports the time every 20 minutes.
